Ingredients
  

For The Biscuits:

  • All-purpose flour 2 cups
  • Baking powder 1 tablespoon
  • Salt ½ teaspoon
  • Granulated sugar ¼ cup
  • Unsalted butter (cold and cubed) ½ cup
  • Whole milk ¾ cup
  • Blueberries (fresh or frozen) 1 cup

For The Glaze:

  • Powdered sugar 1 cup
  • Milk 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract ½ teaspoon

Instructions
 

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 450°F (232°C) and preparing your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In the large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Incorporate the chilled butter into the mixture until you achieve a coarse, crumb-like texture.
  • Gradually add in the milk, mixing until combined. Carefully fold in the blueberries.
  • Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface, knead gently, and roll it to a 1-inch thickness.
  • Cut the biscuits using the biscuit cutter and place them onto the baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • While the biscuits are baking, create the glaze by combining the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a saucepan over low heat. 
  • Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved. Brush the warm glaze over the hot biscuits immediately after they come out of the oven.

Notes

  • Our Bo Berry Biscuit recipe is quite versatile. You can replace the blueberries with raspberries or blackberries for a different flavor profile.
