Ingredients
  

  • Chicken broth ½ cup
  • American shredded cheese (extra melt) 1 ½ cups
  • Roasted hot hatch chiles (use a mixture of green and red) ¾ cup
  • Lime juice 1 tablespoon
  • Salt and pepper (to taste) 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions (white parts removed and finely chopped) 1 stalk
  • Cilantro, (stems removed and finely chopped) ½ bunch
  • Serrano peppers (roasted) 2
  • Tomatillo 1
  • Jalapeno pepper (roasted) ½

Instructions
 

  • Blend all the ingredients except the cheese together in a high-speed blender until they are just combined.
  • In a large pot, bring the blended mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
  • Simmer the mixture on low heat for 10 minutes after bringing it to a boil on medium-high heat.
  • After bringing the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Enjoy the sauce while it's still warm by serving it immediately!
