Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking dish
  • Nonstick spray
  • Shallow dish
  • Meat thermometer

Ingredients

  • Skinless chicken breasts (boneless) 4
  • Ritz crackers (crushed) 1 ½ cups
  • Sour cream 1 cup
  • Melted butter 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder 2 teaspoons
  • Paprika 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder 1 teaspoon
  • Parsley For garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  • Take a 9x13-inch baking dish and lightly coat it with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
  • Use a flat meat pounder or rolling pin to gently pound the chicken breasts until they reach an even thickness.
  • Mix together the sour cream, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder in a shallow dish until thoroughly combined.
  • Take a second shallow dish and add the Ritz crackers to it.
  • Start by dipping each piece of chicken into the sour cream mixture, then coat it thoroughly with the cracker crumbs, pressing down to ensure the crumbs stick to the chicken.
  • Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking dish and pour the melted butter over the top, ensuring all pieces are evenly coated.
  • Allow the chicken to bake in the oven for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Checking for doneness by using a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • After baking, allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
