In your large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Add the finely diced onion and minced garlic to the beef. Sauté until the onions become translucent.
Mix in the water, followed by the tomato sauce and ketchup, stirring well.
Incorporate the sweet paprika, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, yellow mustard, salt, and black pepper. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
Allow the chili mixture to simmer on a low flame for 10-15 minutes or until it reaches your desired consistency.
Once ready, remove the skillet from heat.
To serve, spoon the chili over hot dogs placed inside buns. Top with cheddar cheese, diced onions, pickle relish, and additional mustard if desired.
