Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Leave it aside for later.
In a mixing bowl, blend together the butter, sugar, and margarine until the mixture is creamy and smooth using an electric mixer or a stand mixer.
After scraping the sides of the bowl, add the corn syrup, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
Stir in the baking soda, flour, and salt until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Take about 2 ½ tbsps of the dough and shape it into a ball using your hands. Use two scoops from a #50 scoop for each cookie. Then, place the balls on the baking sheet that you prepared earlier.
Keep repeating this process until all of the cookie dough is used.
Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn a light golden brown and the cookies spread out and flatten. Take out of the oven when done.
After removing the cookies from the oven, leave them on the baking sheet for 5 minutes to cool before transferring them to a wire rack.
