Equipment

  • Two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans
  • A large mixing bowl
  • A medium mixing bowl
  • An electric mixer
  • A whisk
  • A rubber spatula
  • A cooling rack
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour 3 cups
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Baking soda 2 teaspoons
  • Baking powder 2 teaspoons
  • Ground cinnamon 2 teaspoons
  • Ground nutmeg ½ teaspoon
  • Sugar 3 cups
  • Vegetable oil 1 cup
  • Large eggs 4
  • LIBBY'S® 100% Pure Pumpkin (15 oz) 1 can
  • Water cup
  • Pure vanilla extract 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your loaf pans.
  • Start with a big bowl and mix your flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg together.
  • Take another bowl and combine your sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, pumpkin, water, and vanilla extract. Make sure to mix it really well.
  • Next, slowly add your bowl of dry stuff to the bowl of wet stuff. Stir it around just until everything's mixed in.
  • Now, pour your batter into the two loaf pans. Try to split it evenly.
  • Put your pans in the oven and bake for about 60 to 70 minutes. You'll know it's done when you can stick a toothpick in the middle and it comes out clean.
  • After you take it out of the oven, let it cool in the pans for about 10 minutes. Then, move them to a wire rack so they can cool down all the way.
