Skillet pan with lid
- Broccoli (washed, chopped) 2 head
- Water 2 cups
- Grated parmesan cheese ⅓ cup
- Salted butter 4 tablespoons
- Minced garlic 1 tablespoon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Use a sharp knife to cut off the tough stem at the bottom of the broccoli head, leaving only the florets.
Take a skillet large enough to accommodate the broccoli pieces and add 2 cups of water to it.
Season the broccoli with about a teaspoon of salt and pepper, or adjust to your taste.
Allow the water to come to a boil, which usually takes a few minutes.
Once the water is boiling, cover the skillet with a lid to trap the steam inside. Drain any excess water.
Add the desired amount of butter and allow the butter to melt completely, which usually takes a minute or two.
Once the butter has melted, add the cooked broccoli back into the skillet. Toss the broccoli gently in the melted butter, ensuring all the pieces are coated.
Add a burst of flavor by including garlic and parmesan in the mixture and ensuring that it coats everything completely. Remove it and indulge in its delightful flavors!
