Take out the big bones from the middle of the mackerel. Discard the skin and shred the meat into small pieces using a fork, then transfer it to a bowl.
Take a separate bowl and mix bell peppers, bacon, cayenne pepper, parsley, and parmesan cheese together.
Incorporate egg, bread crumbs, and mackerel into a mixture. Stir well until thoroughly blended.
Take the mixture and divide it into 12 even portions, then mold each portion into the shape of a patty.
Heat up a skillet with oil and fry the patties until they are golden brown on both sides, it takes approximately 4-5 minutes per side
After frying the patties, transfer them to paper towels to drain any excess oil.
Serve hot with aioli, hot sauce, mayonnaise, and tartar sauce.
