Ingredients

  • Large shrimp (peeled and deveined) 1 ½ pounds
  • Olive oil 4 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice 3 tablespoons
  • Oregano 1 ½ teaspoons
  • Black pepper ¾ teaspoon
  • Salt ¾ teaspoon
  • Paprika ¾ teaspoon
  • Garlic powder ¾ teaspoon
  • Lemon slices (optional)
  • Parsley (chopped) (optional)

Instructions

  • In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, salt, black pepper, oregano, and garlic powder. Stir the ingredients together thoroughly to ensure they are fully mixed.
  • Coat all the peeled and deveined shrimp and ensure they are fully covered. Afterward, cover the container and put it in the fridge for a maximum of one hour or a minimum of thirty minutes.
  • Skewer the shrimp and cook each side for approximately three minutes over medium-high heat, whether on a barbecue or a grill pan.
  • Take it off the heat and serve over rice that has been seasoned with your preferred flavors.
  • Add lemon wedges for a tangy zest and top it off with chopped parsley for a burst of freshness.
