- Large shrimp (peeled and deveined) 1 ½ pounds
- Olive oil 4 tablespoons
- Lemon juice 3 tablespoons
- Oregano 1 ½ teaspoons
- Black pepper ¾ teaspoon
- Salt ¾ teaspoon
- Paprika ¾ teaspoon
- Garlic powder ¾ teaspoon
- Lemon slices (optional)
- Parsley (chopped) (optional)
In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, salt, black pepper, oregano, and garlic powder. Stir the ingredients together thoroughly to ensure they are fully mixed.
Coat all the peeled and deveined shrimp and ensure they are fully covered. Afterward, cover the container and put it in the fridge for a maximum of one hour or a minimum of thirty minutes.
Skewer the shrimp and cook each side for approximately three minutes over medium-high heat, whether on a barbecue or a grill pan.
Take it off the heat and serve over rice that has been seasoned with your preferred flavors.
Add lemon wedges for a tangy zest and top it off with chopped parsley for a burst of freshness.
